Hello all, I wanted to send you a little post letting you all know that have Mini Aussies that want to compete or do performance with, that I am trying to put together a DAY OF LEARNING. Most of you already know that I have experince in Agility, Rally-O, Obedience, Therapy, Conformation and Frisbee and have titled my dogs in these things. So what I am trying to do it put together a DAY OF LEARNING for these dogs that want to get a start on some of these things. In the DAY OF LEARNING what I am proposing is to set up a day here on my farm to do the following with the help of established breeders/competitors:
Agility (starter course with a mock course) Rally-O (a course and some teaching on how to get started with Rally-O) Conformation (a mock Show where we can critique the dogs and show how to do what is needed in the ring) Frisbee (showing you how to get started on throwing the frisbee and getting your dog to fetch it back) Grooming (showing you how to groom your Mini Aussies for a Conformation show with hands on) The cost would be approx $18-25 per dog for the day depending on the response... If I get enough response to do this all the proceeds will go to CenMASC and MAMASC for the Mini Aussie Nationals for 2009 at Purina Farms in MO in October. So anyone that may be intersted in getting ready for the Nationals or just want to learn more about different venues or grooming techniques then please contact me to get on the list so I can see how may are interested.
